At SCoot Dog Agility, we compete in many different venues, all of which have A-frame heights that vary. Because the required height adjustments are not consistent, particularly for small dogs, it has become increasingly difficult to know at what height to set the A-frame. We tabulated the specs dictated by the organizations our students more commonly trial under, had the list laminated, and then attached it to the underside of the A-frame so it is readily available for consultation.
BONUS: We created a file with the A-frame specs for U.S. agility organizations and made it available at CleanRun.com so you can edit it and create your own custom quick reference sheet (here’s another way to access it: A-frameHeightChart). There is a Word file contained within the PDF so you can edit it to include whatever organizations you need.
